Easy Green Bean Casserole

Planning for Thanksgiving? We've got a good one for you from our JCFF Secretary, Shirley! This simple side dish for thanksgiving will surely impress all your relatives.


INGREDIENTS:

one gallon of green beans

can of cream of mushroom soup

8 oz cream cheese

1 tbsp butter

french fried onion rings

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat the oven for 350 degrees.

  2. Drain one gallon of seasoned green beans.

  3. In a separate bowl use one can of cream of mushroom soup.

  4. Combine 8 oz softened cream cheese and 1 tablespoon butter with soup. Mix this really well then pour over green beans.

  5. Put in oven for twenty minutes or until just hot and bubbly.

  6. Remove and add a can of French fried onion rings and back in oven for 5 to 8 minutes.

  7. Serve warm.
